The Fourth of July is one of our favorite holidays because it’s a celebration of our country’s heritage. Here at MIA Shoes, we’ll be thinking about our nation’s heritage, and our heritage as a company, as we celebrate this Independence Day. How will you celebrate this year? Check out how we celebrate our heritage with our idea of the perfect Americana-style outfits and a few other tips.
Americana style is an ode to American culture and tradition. It usually consists of a mixture of red, white and blue clothing pieces, stripes and denim and lightweight styles. Nothing says “Americana” like denim. An updated pair of overalls with a white tank is an easy and versatile Americana outfit that works for almost any Fourth of July celebration.
Remember Your Roots: MIA Heritage is one of MIA Shoes’ newest collections that celebrates MIA’s 40th anniversary as well as pays homage to MIA’s heritage as a shoe design company. The MIA Heritage collection is made from all-leather designs that blend Americana and bohemian influences for a stylish down-to-earth vibe.
A little fringe detailing, seen here on the MIA Coty, can make all the difference in your Americana style. It’s peep-toe front makes it perfect for a summer time look.
Simple suede-style, lace-up booties like the MIA Shawna add a perfect touch of rustic style to your Americana outfit.
If you’re going for a classier look, a striped crop top and breezy culottes work everywhere from a boat to a garden party. Make sure to pair with our favorite MIA sandal the Cruise, available in many colors.
This year, shy away from the usual stars and stripes attire and choose something with a gingham pattern. Blue gingham is a subtle but perfect touch of Americana style. Take it from these totally on-point street styles.
So there it is, the perfect Americana-inspired outfits for your Fourth of July festivities!
