After a few days of mayhem it's time to wind down from NYFW and harp on about all the shows. At MIA Shoes, we like to categorize the aftermath of New York's best time of year. Our favorite parts of fashion week consist of the top trends, runways shows, and of course off duty looks.

Seems like the fashion week crowd nixed the stilettos and prolonged the most popular lifestyle trend of the year; Athleisure. Sneakers pounded the pavement and made their way onto the catwalks at shows like Tommy Hilfiger and Baja East. If you didn't see sneakers, you definitely saw slides (MIA Shoes Porsha Slide here). Sky's the limit at NYFW this year, so get your hands on some furry, embellished, or monochromatic sneakers and slides.

Need a quick recap on the shows? At MIA Shoes, we narrowed down our favorite Spring '17 looks. Classic players like Tommy Hilfiger and Ralph Lauren made an all american statement this year and keeping their names as American fashion designers alive. Tommy had his girls strut down the runway in sneakers, as well as bringing back his nautical vibe.

Off or on duty these girls are always looking great. Top contender this year, Gigi Hadid, kept her looks faithful to Tommy Hilfiger. Other off duty trends consisted of velvet accents, crop tops, denim of course and our favorite sneakers!
